Great source material for the climate wars on social media.
Reviewed in Canada on October 17, 2019Great little book, includes top scientists weighing in on the climate hoax, including the author, who himself was once all bought into the scam.

Jeroen5 out of 5 starsExcellent book
Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2013Very comprehensive book that also debunks the myth of consensus.
It gives a clear insight in what really goes on in the world of climate scepticism

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on April 2, 2011This is a book about some of the eminent scientists who have stood out against the media hype and unscientific approach of the IPCC, and who have questioned different aspects of the 'global-warming' narrative. The author is an environmentalist and columnist and the book is based on newspaper columns, but well done into book form. The book should be read by anyone who thinks Al Gore knows what he is talking about, but, sadly, it probably won't be.
Recommended: the text is clear, trenchant and mostly comprehensible to the lay reader. The author asks a lot of questions which the uncritical media fail to ask.
It is interesting that many of the eminent scientists identified here are no longer young. It is a particularly pernicious aspect of the whole scam that money is usually not available in order to challenge the current view: these people no longer have research teams to support. And the author makes the good point that many of these scientists are very eminent indeed - unlike the people (Michael Mann is one name that comes to mind) most closely associated with the so-called 'settled science'.

Gary Sheedy4 out of 5 starsThe cases put by the "Deniers" are pretty reasonable and clearly put
Reviewed in the United States on July 15, 2014I found this book extremely interesting. The cases put by the "Deniers" are pretty reasonable and clearly put. However the jury is still out on this one. We may have to wait another 100 years before we can actually say they are right or wrong, and by then it may be too late for Planet Earth. However, let's not throw away the baby with the bathwater.

E. R. Smyth4 out of 5 starsMakes more sense
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 12, 2013The author takes time and careful consideration to outline the case for the prosecution and then dices it perfectly into disposable pieces to be binned as dangerous nonsense. It almost explains why monsters were invented to keep small children from going into the basement.
