".I would call T&H a lynch pin strategy. By getting Corbert, Pilatos, Jan... to congregate loosely around one hub (T&H) then the viewer-ship will naturally converge on the "hub". By doing this each individual can gain a bit of viewers from the others, but the hub collects all gains.

T&H is the lynch pin which holds it all on the hub, pulls it all together... it also means that it can begin to dictate which content flows out of that hub.

This is no different than the banking cartels funding both sides of a war. By being the centre axle you influence which direction the wheel spins. In this case nobody is upset - each broadcaster gains more eyes, each viewer finds interesting information more conveniently... what a wonderful service T&H is providing...

The hub is afforded the ability to influence the viewer-ship, not through created content alone, but also by which content is being collected together. A GM viewer (with high priority on reason) can then be influenced by NVC gargon. Or a Corbert viewer with interest in geopolitics can be mystified by Passio... Or someone interested in what Binney has to say can then be associated with UFO's (heller).

This works in the other direction as well. A person interested in Annunaki starts talking about the Binney interview and everyone around the water cooler starts to think Binney must be some "out there" topic - this works to marginalize reasonable topics by associating them with outrageous ones, and works to legitimize outrageous topics by associating them with credible ones. It does the same to the people exposing themselves to topics they normally wouldn't. New Agers begin to embrace the language of critical thinking (while clinging to a remade mysticism - de-occulting ) and takes those who value reason and exposes them to nonsense - "Can't be that bad if Mr. Grove supports it. Might as well give it a go"

There is a larger game at play, presented as solidarity in truth, but if you weed out the contradictions in the topics and the relationships between bloggers you start to see who is running the game - and why.

....tell me, why does T&H still post GM content on their site and emails after 6 months of "liable and slander"? Seems to me GM content plays a larger role in the T&H business model than just solidarity in truth."
