Washington 606

Circa 1883

James and Elizabeth "Sibbee" Thompson Findley arrived at Cheney in 1883. Among other things, James Findley built many of the wooden sidewalks of early Cheney. Their three sons, Claude, William J. and Herbert grew up in the house.

Later owned by Lyle/Lisle Dare

The house was demolished in 2018 to make room for two duplexes that face West 5th Street.
