Specifics of Storage Location

Concept:

Closed boxes, stacked containers, and deep buckets or boxes make locating items by a quick visual scan unreliable. Need to avoid unpacking the container each time I need to find something. Hence, the need for a List of Contents for each container.

Limitations:

It takes time to generate the List. It takes more time to update the list periodically. The Container needs a unique identifier and an assigned location. This will be a challenge as each time an item is removed or replaced, there is a chance that it will end up in the wrong place and the system then needs to find the lost item; that is still preferable to the constant search and sort I have now!

Again, keep it simple and keep it up.
