My Shop Project

Concept:

The Shop Project is focused on the evolution and furnishing of my workshop. The initial focus was to leverage the utility of the router, especially the router table to perform complex joinery and stock preparation. Additional tools and furnishing would be used to extend my stock preparation options and to permit supplemental techniques when a router was not the ideal solution. As of today. March 24, 2024, I am well along the way and I need better organization and space utilization to realize my shops full potential.

Office Management Project:

The record keeping component/aspect of My Shop Project has been allocated to the Office Management Project. I hope to centralize my records and to track my inventory using a shared, computer based system. This will mean updating the acquisition process, recording current assets and slowly adding past acquisitions for record keeping and possible insurance valuation.

With luck, I can identify and remove or repurpose items no longer needed as I refine the scope of my woodworking activities.
