"The problems inherent in the New Age movement are made clear by its most lucid critic, author Ken Wilber. Because there is no single or underlying New Age philosophy, he says, it is probably as correct to discuss New Age movements as a New Age movement...'they fail acrossthe board: they lack a consistent technology of access to higher interior dimensions, they lack means (and even a theory) of social institutionalization...most of them end up regressing to various forms of mythic imperialism.'"
