Reproduction of Bacteria

Bacteria reproduce through binary fission (asexual reproduction):

1. DNA is replicated
2. Cell elongates (stretches), chromosomes are pulled to opposite ends.
3. The cell membrane pinches the cytoplasm in half

And 2 new identical cells form!
