Abiotic (prebiotic) Earth

Atmosphere:

• Volcanic eruption releases CH4, NH3, CO (all three are chemically reducing agents), and CO2 to the atmosphere. It also contain H2O, N2, and H2.

Temperature & UV:

• High UV radiation due to lack of Ozone layer (O3), since Oxygen gases (O2) are consumed by reducing agents in the atmosphere and form several oxide compounds.
• High temperature (around 2000 °C) due to high UV, volcanic eruption, and released greenhouses gases that further traps those heats in the Earth.
