Checking Knowledge

During any given lesson time where new information is being discussed after introduction by the mentor or by the student / student group it is good practice that you, as the mentor, punctuate the time with checks for understanding of the material.

You might have the information presented between the students or you might build a model or research and present more deeply something that has been touched on but would benefit understanding if it were to be explored.
