<p><strong>Role:</strong> Pastor – Spiritual CEO of the church. Besides the normal ministerial duties, I advocate and set an example with respect to expressing faith in a relevant manner for this present age. This includes cultivating a welcoming atmosphere IN the church and working for the good of God's Commonwealth in the public square. This involves working for social justice and the welfare of those who are voiceless and powerless.</p>
<p><strong>Community Contribution:</strong> I currently serve as the Co-Chair of BRIDGE Maryland, a network of churches in the region that work for social justice through community organizing and leadership development. I also serve as a board member of the Baltimore Child Abuse Center. I am a member of the Professional Advisory Group for Spiritual Care and Chaplaincy for Johns Hopkins Medical Center. There are several other endeavors I volunteer for as the chaplain for the Eastern Region of my fraternity.</p>
<p><strong>Family:</strong> I started dating my wife in college during junior year (Morgan State). Two adult daughters, (one Pitt Panther and an Ohio State Buckeye). Oldest daughter and son in law are expecting their first child in late May.</p>
<p><strong>Hobbies & Interests:</strong> Golf (average and looking to get better), traveling with the family, good restaurants, working out, a good book while sitting on the beach.</p>
