<p><strong>Organization:</strong> Horseshoe Casino</p>
<p><strong>Role:</strong> “Official” Role: As Vice President and Assistant General Manager, I am responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business. I am directly accountable for the Table Games, Slots, Security, Cage, Count Room, Facilities, Environmental Services, and Customer Service functions. My job is to provide strategic direction, drive revenue, manage expenses, and build a customer service culture. Real role: to teach, influence, and inspire team members to reach their greatest potential and to create memorable experiences for our guests.</p>
<p><strong>Community Contribution:</strong> I am currently on the board of directors for Associated Black Charities, the South Baltimore Gateway Partnership, and the Baltimore Casino Local Development Corporation. I am class secretary for the UVA Darden School of Business. Additionally, I am a coach in MLT’s Ascend Program, coaching first-generation college students to succeed in college and beyond.</p>
<p><strong>Family:</strong> I am a mother of two incredibly sweet, funny, AND crazy kids: son Ryan, 4 and daughter Reagan, soon-to-be 2. I am also wife to the world’s most patient husband (because the kids get their crazy from someone!). Our family has moved three times in three years, my son has attended five schools in less than two years, and my daughter has crossed stateliness three times before turning two. This crew is ready to sit still for a while.</p>
<p><strong>Hobbies & Interests:</strong> In my head: writing, travel, and fitness. My real hobby? Making time to actually pursue said hobbies.</p>
