Samuel Hahnemann

Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann (German: [ˈhaːnəman]; 10 April 1755[1] – 2 July 1843) was a German physician, best known for creating the pseudoscientific system of alternative medicine called homeopathy.[2]

In the Organon, Hahnemann introduced the concept of "miasms" as the "infectious principles" underlying chronic disease[43] and as "peculiar morbid derangement[s] of vital force".[44]
