According to various sources, Ascended Masters are:
- Enlightened beings who have experienced life on earth, not necessarily famous individuals, but ordinary humans who have harmonized with the inner blueprint of life and become one with God.
- Souls who have achieved enlightenment in a single lifetime or have completed the reincarnation cycle through self-mastery.
- High-vibrational, enlightened Beings of love and light, surpassing guardian angels and spirit guides because they have lived as human beings.
- Saints, prophets, and sages who have lived among us as avatars for enlightenment, healers of disease, and slayers of evil.
- Divine human beings who have taken the Fifth Initiation and are capable of dwelling in a 5th dimension.
Some notable examples of Ascended Masters mentioned in the search results include Jesus the Christ, Gautama the Buddha, and Mahatma Gandhi. These individuals are believed to have achieved enlightenment and ascension, allowing them to continue supporting humanity from a higher realm.
In summary, an Ascended Master is an enlightened being who was once human, has paid off their karmic debt, and has mastered ascension, allowing them to continue guiding and supporting humanity from a higher dimension.
