<p>A <b>diuretic</b> provides a means of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forced_diuresis" title="Forced diuresis">forced diuresis</a> which elevates the rate of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urination" title="Urination">urination</a>. There are several categories of diuretics. All diuretics increase the excretion of water from bodies, although each class does so in a distinct way.
