As a "niche" lender, Emigrant applies common sense underwriting to close loans which do not "fit the box" of most other lenders. As a jumbo/super-jumbo lender, Emigrant regularly closes loans with loan amounts up to $10 million. Emigrant has built a strong reputation for closing condominium and cooperative loans as routinely as 1-4 family loans.
