Purpose
SSBIPOC Working Committees, also referred to as Action Teams, are task-focused groups created to advance specific programs, projects, events, or strategic priorities.
Their purpose is to move ideas into action by bringing together individuals with the knowledge, experience, relationships, or capacity necessary to accomplish clearly defined objectives.
Working Committees may be permanent, temporary, or project-specific depending on the needs of SSBIPOC.

Committee size may vary depending on the complexity of the assignment.
Smaller teams are encouraged when the work requires rapid coordination and execution.
