<p>As Counsel for the <a class="thought-link" href="brain://ciIU66mNb0SLDcC7Jvv4Ag/TrumpOrganization">Trump Organization</a>, Mr. Garten has been involved in a variety of matters of interest to the Committee and reportedly communicated directly with <a class="thought-link" href="brain://uiDkXV044ESy18iajFuM3A/DonaldTrump">Donald Trump</a> about them, including how to address publicly the <a class="thought-link" href="brain://2jNVrlmHl0OUSBWizVyCDA/20160609">2016-06-09</a> (June 9, 2016) meeting that <a class="thought-link" href="brain://Ftgv20Wyfkussq6xvGtf_Q/DonaldTrumpJr">Donald Trump Jr</a>., <a class="thought-link" href="brain://MsQ34_-Im0Cqo8cqngvu3g/JaredKushner">Jared Kushner</a>, and Paul Manafort held with a Russian delegation. The Committee should request Mr. Garten&rsquo;s testimony and ask the <a class="thought-link" href="brain://ciIU66mNb0SLDcC7Jvv4Ag/TrumpOrganization">Trump Organization</a> to clarify the basis for and subject matter of any redaction from material it has produced to the Committee, and compel via subpoena the disclosure of relevant redacted information, if necessary.</p>
