Mah Jong Stands

During July 2023 JO made new sets of Mah Jong stands.

A previous set was made by RS.

An angled wooden profile about 390mm long to rest the mah jong tiles onto.

The method of construction is laid out in the attached PDF file.

The Akaroa Mens Shed has made several sets for local Mahjong players on order.  We are told that the design is quite popular amongst the players.  To hold the 14 tiles with a little extra space the holders are 390mm long.
