So Why TheBrain Software?
Narration - Wicked Problem Knowledge Management Tour (Don’t know about the Tour? Click here!)

The Four Steps:
1. Curating Almost Infinite Information
There are lots of knowledge management tools out there today, and I won’t claim to be an expert in all of them them, but whether its personal knowledge management or wicked problem knowledge management TheBrain is a unique combination of simplicity and power. I can dump ANYTHING into my personal Brain in seconds and know I can find it again. And TheBrain can handle virtually infinite information for wicked problem solving, as you’ve seen with the Climate Web.
2. Making it Possible to Navigate that Information
The Search function may be all you need for personal knowledge management, but wicked problem knowledge management requires much more. With its Search function, Types, One-Way Links and other TheBrain capabilities, including the new Tour option in the on-line software, TheBrain offers enormous flexibility in helping users navigate a wicked problem.
3. From Information to Knowledge
A knowledge management tool can’t really be expected to turn information into knowledge by itself, although the new ChatGPT integration into TheBrain will be useful if used with care. But TheBrain makes it easy for knowledge curators to help turn information into knowledge. Whether it’s the ability to organize thousands of extracted ideas and graphics as Climate Knowledge LEGO bricks, or the ability to assemble hundreds of Insights Pages representing the collective experience of decades in the field, the Climate Web illustrates how TheBrain facilitates creation of a collective intelligence for wicked problems.
4. From Knowledge to Actionable Knowledge
The challenge with actionable knowledge is that everyone is looking for something slightly different. The Tags feature in TheBrain, which we’ve used to build more than 500 Topical Dashboards, each one able to save users hours to days of time, is a massively powerful tool for organizing the right information for the right person at the right time, in other words actionable knowledge. Because Tags don’t represent physical links, one can create as many Tag-based actionable knowledge collections as desired without overwhelming the visual plex. In addition, being able to navigate Brains without having to use the Plex at left is HUGE for many people who may not be visual thinkers and who find the Plex disconcerting. Being able to navigate Brains as one huge website will help a lot of people access more actionable knowledge.
