CLIMATE HOT TOPICS

With Your Climate Change Toolbox you can explore and track hundreds of topics through thousands of proven search terms from Wikipedia, Google, Google Images, Google Scholar, YouTube, Vimeo, Quora, Twitter, Reddit, DeepDyve, and the Policy Commons. More topics are added all the time, and we’ll soon be adding podcast search terms.
To help organize the topics we’ve taken advantage of both concepts introduced earlier, namely wicked problems and Climate Chess. Topics are organized by:
- Climate Change as a Wicked Problem lets you dig into WHY climate change is a wicked problem, and what that implies.
- Climate Change Impacts lets you dig into many of the impacts of climate change, as well as the many manifestations of the Fingerprint of Climate Change.
- Team No-Urgency Pieces/Moves runs with the Climate Chess metaphor, and lets you explore some of the barriers that need to be overcome in tackling climate change.
- Team Urgency Pieces/Moves again runs with the Climate Chess methaphor, and lets you explore some of the MANY ways that climate change mitigation goals can be advanced.
- If you’re coming at climate change from the standpoint of individual action, the Individuals’ Impacts and Moves organizes the searches of most relevance.
- If you’re coming at climate change from a business perspective, the Business Impacts and Moves organizes the searches of most relevance.
You can customize your Toolbox by “pinning” individual searches or search terms to the top of your own screen for instant access, or convert your full collection of favorite search terms and resources into your own customized search dashboard.
