"Two analysts at Noble, which buys and sells carbon credits, have left to set up a new venture.

Ingo Tschach, former director of market analysis at Noble Carbon Credits, has founded Tschach Solutions together with Jan Frommeyer, who has also left Noble to provide analysis, tools and research for trading companies and governments in the carbon market.

The company will provide services to Noble, its first client, and will aim to develop products following consultations with players in the carbon market, Tschach told Point Carbon.

"We hope to be rolling out ideas at Carbon Expo," Ingo Tschach said, referring to an upcoming gathering of the carbon market in Cologne later this month.

Tschach said the new company would use its experience in the carbon market to offer tools in response to developments in the market.

"For instance had a tool ready in January to check whether secondary CERs had been used already," the company's founder said in reference to the recycled CERs that found they way into the EU's emissions trading scheme earlier this year. "</p>
