Climate-Check

ClimateCHECK (www.climate-check.com) has really grown in the past several

months and I am happy to refer to us as a leading climate change service

provider in North America. I have attached our statement of qualifications

as a summary of our project list and work within the voluntary marketplace.

With our network of recognized technical experts, we are well on our way to

being a "made in North America" super-DOE. As one metric to use for me to

say this is our project reference list within ClimateCHECK - it is

comparable to SGS (around 200) and if we include our partners it is even

higher - ranking us perhaps #3 globally behind DNV and TUV. But the real

reason I would call us a "made in North America super-DOE" is the following

list of highlights and our full service matrix offering - that is our

services include consulting, validation, verification, training, and

management and our market segments include carbon-neutral products, new GHG

technologies, GHG projects, company GHG inventory and management systems, as

well as GHG programs (e.g. GE-AES, among others). As another way to

contrast our capabilities vs conventional DOEs, compare the competency

requirements for CDM project validations (check a project follows an

approved methodology) against our capabilities within the North American GHG

marketplace to validate hybridized GHG methodologies (ISO, WRI, CDM - we are

doing this for GE-AES and have been asked to same for GHG programs in

Canada), as well as our network to develop new GHG technology methodologies

and to test them in demo/lab facilities operated by our partners. With the

growth of the intersection of clean tech and climate change and the growing

demand for more rigorous technical services (in consulting and auditing, not

just engineering design) - we feel positioned in front to service this

demand and growth.

You may also be interested to know about some of our other activities within

the GHG marketplace - later in September ClimateCHECK and its partners the

Earth Council, the Greenhouse Gas Experts Network and the World Resources

Institute will be launching the "Greenhouse Gas Management Institute" as a

training organization offer training and member services to professionalize

GHG managers and service providers. I am also leading up the development of

3 other GHG business ventures - hopefully we can find the time to discuss

them in the coming months as they progress to the next level.
