Tour Intro
You’re about to embark on your own tour of the Open Access Climate Web. Three quick points:
- For better viewing of the Climate Web during the tour, we recommend right-clicking anywhere in the green plex at left and selecting Presentation Mode. That will give you a full-browser view to follow along with.
- To make your tour more meaningful, we’ve prepared an audio file to guide you. The link to that file is at top of this page. Open the file, and it will open in new a browser tab where you can play it (and pause if desired). So when you’re read go ahead and start the audio and then come back to this browser tab. Note that the arrow you’ll click on to advance the tour is the horizontal arrow at top right, not the curved arrow (that’s for sharing a link to this thought).
- In the tour we largely replicate the experience you would have if navigating the Climate Web entirely on your own. So early in the tour we go back to the same thoughts several times, just as you would if navigating the content.
- As you go through the tour there’s a lot of content that you might want to explore. You can do that, but then you’ll want to pause the audio file, and when you’re ready to resume the tour re-start the audio file and click on the “next” arrow at top right. Alternatively, just go through the tour for now - it only takes several minutes. And then come back to explore the content on your own. As soon as you understand how simple that is, the need for the tour will disappear!
