Introduction

The Climate Web encompasses more than 1,000 climate-relevant books. They fall into several major categories:

• Books specific to the problem of climate change, a few of which are illustrated here.

• Books focused on the political and societal variables relevant to climate change, a few of which are shown here:

• Books not necessarily focused on climate change, but very relevant to the challenges associated with tackling climate change, e.g. human psychology, human behavior, and willful blindness. Some of these are shown here.

This Ebook selects a small subset of these books to profile in a little more detail. In many cases we’ll also point you into the Climate Web where you can explore graphics and ideas we’ve extracted from the books, access book reviews, and more.

We’ll also point you to our climate change bookstore at www.bookshop.com, an independent bookseller response to amazon.com. We are an affiliate of bookshop.com, and will receive a commission on any books purchased through our Climate Change Bookshop.
