Climate Web Dashboard Insights
One way to think about the Climate Web is as a collection of 200,000 climate knowledge LEGO bricks (or thoughts). What kinds of “actionable knowledge kits” could you build with 200,000 climate LEGOs? A LOT, and that is what Dashboards in the Climate Web are all about.

LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies which does not sponsor, authorize, or endorse the Climate Web. We use the word LEGO to help visualize information building blocks fitting together to deliver actionable climate knowledge.
Most of the materials you’ll find in the Climate Web are physically linked together, making it very easy to click your way through sources and topics. Tags, on the other hand, allow any selection of Climate Web resources to be organized and displayed without being physically linked. Tags give us enormous flexibility to customize the delivery of potentially actionable knowledge.
Tagged resource collections in the Climate Web are called "Dashboards," each of which can save you from hours to days of time. In fact, you’re likely to find resources organized in Dashboards that you never would have otherwise come across either in the Climate Web or by searching the internet.
Dashboards can take MANY forms in the Climate Web. For a bunch of examples see What Can be Organized via Topical Dashboards?
The topical Child Thoughts at left are a good way to survey the entire collection of Dashboards in the Climate Web. But note that if you explore the Climate Web topically through its Index, which is the easiest way to explore it, you’ll see relevant Dashboards linked to individual Index Entries.
Dashboards are just one category of insight thoughts in the Climate Web. Click on Climate Insight Materials (the Parent Thought in the Plex at left) to see and access the different categories of insight thoughts.
