HELP: Q&A Collections
Q&A Collections
An introductory video is Tabbed above.
Q&A Collections represent a particular kind of Topical Dashboard in the Climate Web. Q&As relevant to a specific topic or audience can be collected for easier access, or to serve a particular need. The screenshots shown below represent a Dashboard developed for an investment advisory firm interested in low carbon investment strategies. The first screenshot gathers together the questions posed by the client.

The second screenshot illustrates how Arguments relevant to each question are pulled together, drawing up the relevant literatures. Note that Arguments should not be assumed to represent the thinking of the Climatographers. Arguments generally represent issues brought up in the topical literature, and in many cases you'll encounter pros and cons Arguments for to a particular question.

The 3rd screenshot shows how supporting information is linked to each Argument through Jump Thoughts (to the left). These might be ideas, graphics, news stories, or other materials that in this case would help the client get their head around low carbon investing.

Q&A Dashboards can range widely in scope and depth. The screenshot below, for example, shows a Dashboard pulling together the key questions surrounding the Social Cost of Carbon (SCC). As you can see, each question is associated with "answers" drawn from the large SCC literature.
