Introduction
If a picture is worth 1,000 words, what about a music video? There is a growing library of climate music that includes "science music," "protest music." Perhaps climate music is one way of overcoming the climate change communications challenge for some audiences.

Scientists first raised the climate change alarm more than 50 years ago, but progress in tackling climate change has been slow. Scientists still forecast (at best) disruptive and (at worst) catastrophic levels of climate warming in coming decades.
The Climatographers have worked on climate change for more than 30 years, and we've come to see climate change as the ultimate communications challenge, as reflected in our cartoon below.

We've been building the Climate Web to help accomplish the objective of overcoming “The Great Wall” as shown in the cartoon. Videos are a great source of climate learning, and in building the Climate Web we've come across thousands of climate-related videos that are available to you in the Climate Web.
This Climate Music Ebook is mostly for fun, focusing on a narrow set of videos - climate music videos. Everyone loves videos, just as we love cartoons and other opportunities for communicating powerful ideas about different aspects of the climate change issue. We hope that this collection of music videos gives you some new ways to think about climate change.
