AHRS ("A-HARS”): attitude and heading reference system
computes aircraft attitude and heading information using
- advanced sensors
- accelerometers
- rate sensors
- a magnetometer, providing accurate heading information with no input from the pilot.
EFIS: electronic flight information system
Engine Monitoring Unit
- receives and processes signals from the engine airframe sensors
- digital readouts on the LCD displays of all traditional engine instrumentation
