Relationships and Other Stuff

Okay, so...

We've recently made new friends on the internet based on a common interest, and we have revealed our existences to them. Because of that, they now refer to us and call us by our individual names, not just the name of the body's host. Since nobody else does that, we're pretty happy that someone finally does, and we might start getting others to do it, too. But, yeah...

The other part I want to talk about, the part of the title I haven't explained... Okay... So...

I...am in love...with another Alter. I want to be with him, protect him, cherish him, and love him forever. But, I realize the limitations of being Alters, such as not being able to physically hold him. Being co-conscious, though, we are at least able to speak to each other, and can sometimes touch each other. However, it's not the same. I can never kiss him. I can't do a lot of things with him... Including, I'm pretty sure, marriage. Which, also brings up another topic: marriage of Alters. Not only between one another, but what about with other people outside the system? What if one Alter loves someone, but the others don't? What if they each love someone different? We may be individuals, but we only have one body to share...
