Odd Romantic Child Alter

The more I work on this stuff, the more pieces of memory I keep getting, however slowly or vaguely.

But I've started identifying a trend, that what seems to me to be a sort of 'romance' alter.

Whenever I've tried dating or to have relationships, my memories and timelines always seem to have been jacked up, and I don't remember actually feeling any connection to these partners or perceived-partners. I often can't even remember much of how things started or ended.

However, recently in getting a few pieces divulged to me, I've been able to trace this trend all the way back my early childhood, which seems really weird to me, since children (in my perception, anyway) aren't really supposed to be romantic.

I have no idea how old I was, but based on various clues, I can gauge it in the timeline that I was probably 7 or 8, 9 at the most. It;s really confusing because some things don't fit quite right, but that's the best I can do.
