Cosplay with DID?

I saw some topics in the past about how many people with DID have a hard time on Halloween (Because the scary stuff is very triggering), but are there others who get to enjoy other costume-related events like cosplaying at conventions or dressing up in old-world attire at Renaissances festivals? (Since the common scare-factor and most of the gore is removed outside of Halloween).

Do you find dealing with crowds/social-situations easier or harder when in a costume?

Do your Alters enjoy it? Do they like influence what costume you wear?

I'm curious to see how many others there are out there. ( I find it so much easier, even being very outgoing, around big groups of people when I can just throw on a costume & be some other character.) Most of my Alters really enjoy it too, though some get into arguments on who they want to dress us up as.
