I had the idea of trying to play a character with "MPD" or Multiple Personality Disorder. While I realize that this is difficult task, I was thinking depends on how many different personality's you try to emulate. Most importantly though on whether other "people" are able to catch on to your Role-play. I though that maybe if I had a piece of paper and a pen I could make a small note that could be shown to others when met, detailing a certain amount of the "RP' I was engaging.</p>

For Example:
Hi my name is _.
I suffer from "Multiple Personality Disorder".
My Personality include but are not limited to.....</p>

Myself Calm, collected intelligent well mannered and articulate.
Jimmy the scared child-like personality.
Sarge the no holds barred tactician with overbearing protection instincts.
Max the Cold, uncaring " oh well crap happens".</p>

More could be added but I think everyone gets the basic idea. While i realize that for each personality things would have to handled carefully. I also understand that someone could attempt to use this as a way to kill someone. Saying that " I killed him because I have "MPD" and one of them is a homicidal maniac." just doesn't seem to cut it to me. So you would have to be careful as to what kind of a line you take to ensure that no rules are broken.</p>

That being said, I believe that the concept has some merit to it and wanted to get a few opinions on the idea.</p>
