Link Bugs (in parentheses) in Desktop Notes

Bug Description

Attach a link to a word or phrase within parentheses at the end of a sentence.
The attached link will remove the final parenthesis and the period at the end of the sentence.
The same results appear in the desktop and the web client.

Bug Demo

Keep a glass of clean water with you during our call so you will be able to stay hydrated. (This is especially important for neural retraining.)

09.19.20: Help Desk ticket created > Attached screenshot submitted
09.21.20: Bug #1 replicated and confirmed > Ticket closed with fix still pending.
10.26.20: Bug #2 discovered and reported in a follow-up Help Desk ticket along with the attached demo video:
10.27.20: Bug #2 replicated and closed without resolution.
11.06.22: Tested this bug again, and the double icons (illustrated in the attached video and screenshot) no longer appear, but the final parenthesis and period both still disappear. < Bug fix still pending . . . .
