Create Custom Dashboards / Workspaces Within TheBrain
Use a Note with select hyperlinks to load a temporary workspace in just a few seconds
- Paste into a Note the links you want to use to load your dashboard or temporary workspace
- Put these links in the note in your preferred order.
- Add headers, use bullets, checkboxes, and group/sequence them however you want.
- Add any additional explanatory or organizing text. (Only the links will matter.)
- When you are ready to load this temporary workspace, open this Thought in a new Tab/Window. (I set a custom key command for this because I do it a lot.)
- Go to the new Tab/Window, and clear out the Selection pane. You can click the tiny X at the top of the Selection pane, or use a key command.
- Note: This only affects the current Tab/Window. Your original window keeps any Selections it had.
- Select All in the Note, right-click, and pick "Add Linked Thoughts to Selection".
- Now you have a temporary workspace with a set of relevant Thoughts loaded in the Selection pane! Easy to activate, jump back and forth with a single click, or link to or link from any of those Thoughts. The best part is the Thoughts can be selected from anywhere in your Brain!
