3 Web Client Update: Questions
- Can you please HIDE the controls for the admin features from the public (logged out) display? They are going to be very confusing to my public readers:
To-Do List< 05.09.25: Just now discovered the to-do list can now be hidden- Reports < 05.09.25: Found bugs in the web client reports & asked why the reports are visible when logged out
- Harlan's Reply: Reports are just another way of looking at a brain and can provide readers with ways to find and discover things (for example they might want to see all thoughts of a given type that are tagged in a certain way)
- Similarly, can you provide a toggle option to HIDE the thought types in the upper left corner of the note header? For virtually all of my use cases, thought types are admin feature, and having them display in the note header is another source of confusion for my readers. < Reply pending . . . .
- Thought Type Indicator Update (child) | 07.01.15 < New
- Would it be possible to mark external links in the notes to distinguish them from internal links? < Reply pending . . . .
- Would it also be feasible to make the horizontal rules in the notes a MUCH lighter shade of gray? Before the release of Vulcan, they were a very light shade of gray, which I much preferred, and I'd love to have that display option restored.
- Somewhere along the way the web client began adding extra blank rows at the bottom of my notes.
- Is there a way to turn OFF these extra rows so they are no longer added into the web client display?
- 01.18.25: Reported again in the forum
- 01.21.25: Matt suggested this problem was created by an old bug that has since been resolved.
