DAY 8 — TACTIC CHANGES, CLIMAX AND ROUGH STRUCTURE
DATE
8 October 2025.
DINNER-PARTY PREPARATION
The body was prepared by taking every body part to a dinner party, developing through gathering, attention to others, affecting/being affected, wildness, exhaustion and slowing.
GECKO READY
Levels one to five, with wink, high five, meaningful high five and time to end encounters.
LOOKING FOR SOMETHING
Pairs searched for something and were repeatedly instructed to CHANGE TACTIC. Route, urgency, relation, strategy and physical behaviour changed.
GROUP EXPANSION
Pairs merged into larger formations; a group could assume another possessed missing object or information.
CLIMAX FIRST
The group created a final tableau, activated briefly and precisely. The scene began at THE PEAK OF THE CLIMAX; performers then discovered an ending.
DEVISING
Generate material, focus on missing beats, divide into smaller units and reach rough structure by day’s end.
FEEDBACK
Lucia and Katie offered feedback, structural support and outside observation.
