Technics is constitutive of the human
The conventional model says: human first exists → technology is added. Stiegler destabilizes this sequence. The human is constituted through technical exteriorization.
Tools are not merely external accessories. They participate in memory, gesture, knowledge, time and transmission.
Body → tool → external memory → cultural transmission.
Originary technicity
Technics is originary: the human is technically constituted from the beginning. A prosthesis extends capacity, but also produces dependence and reorganizes what capacity means.
Avoid both technophilia and technophobia: prosthesis is not simply liberation or loss, but constitution.
