DANCE / SPEECH / GESTURE / SILENCE

The lineage allows relations among dance, theatre, speech, gesture, behaviour, music, silence and simple presence.

Dance need not dominate speech; speech need not explain movement; gesture can function beside text without illustrating it.

One question may produce phrase, sentence, tableau, song, physical task or silent state.

Audience may recognise relations without receiving continuous narrative.
