INSTITUTIONAL MODEL

The reformulated MAI became mobile, nomadic and invited. Working motto: “Don't come to us, we'll come to you.” Institutions invite MAI and finance its arrival.

BUILDING → PRACTICE

The institution becomes a practice rather than a building. This does not erase place: MAI later worked in São Paulo, Ukraine, Istanbul and Athens, and a physical space opened in Karyes in 2023.
