Cyborg as boundary critique

The cyborg is not simply human + robot. It destabilizes boundaries between human/machine, organism/technology, nature/culture, physical/non-physical and male/female.

Hybridity as condition: the cyborg unsettles fantasies of origin, purity and natural identity. This produces an anti-essentialist body.

Identity becomes affinity and coalition rather than biological destiny: affinity over identity.

Connect conceptually—not as undifferentiated equivalence—to queer politics, ecofeminism and posthumanism. The crucial shift is that technology is not simply outside the body; the boundary itself is unstable.
