Self effort is a cousin of self-reliance self effort is doing stuff self reliance is broader to include thinking stuff the whole idea about trying smarter shows that we have developed ideas and so we are relying on our ideas the exact opposite do not lean on your own understanding

Emerson basically believe that we each have our own reality he said don't ever let anyone disagree with you rely on your own thoughts you are right and they disagree with you whatever doesn't affect you yeah so don't don't ever let anyone tell you what to think

Then we will all have self reliance because we all whatever we're true to ourselves

That summarizes to say if everybody

Disagrees with

Everybody else

That makes everybody

Right

In there in those days there was no king in Israel everybody did what was right in his own eyes in other words that mean that means everybody relied on their own thinking

So that would be I guess the that the higher and lower criticism the higher self effort is the ideas and the lower self effort is practicing them but all of it comes to self effort is human ideas and humor that human effort to achieve them

The part starts there was no king in Israel

Relying on your own understanding is we're begging against the kingdom

God brought the kingdom to fix that problem

And of course he himself is that king

I have to show myself effort he's not involved with the bondage you know getting out of bondage but it is involved in other things that's because we need the we know the thing you know where if anyone denies this in nature he is a liar

But someone who says I'm not in bondage that may actually be the case it doesn't say we lie in the truth is not in us if we say we are not slaves to send we are not what did Paul say controlled by it or captive he was captive to say we can say I am not cactus without deceiving ourselves

In fact the Bible makes it clear that is true of everybody who walks in the spirit

WE ARE THE ADULTS; YOU ARE THE CHILD

I finally after all these decades come up to the point where I have achieved the status of basket case

But I'd rather be a basket case 100% submitted to God and his word and his spirit then to be some totally together fool who is relying on his total togetherness also referred to as the arm of flesh which will fail you
