CONVENTIONS
I have two spreadsheets that will be kept along side the Brain Plex for reference and pasting as you work. They are:
- Brain LABELS AND TYPES
- TYPES identify he tone this idea probably will take when expressed.
- They are color coded and you will recognize them quickly.
- This is for reference only.
- LABELS identify the purpose this idea will likely be used for.
- Labels are identified by a ‘ : ‘ whereas Tags are identified by a “ - “
- They are not color coded, but carry a Prefix letter for sorting. Examples are:
- E: EXHORTATION
- L: LOGIC (Reasoning in which formal logic is explicitly invoked)
- R: REASON (Reasoning in general)
- W: WARN
- They are TEXT-BASED so they must be COPIED AND PASTED EXACTLY in order to keep the categories clean.
- Brain TAGS
- These are color coded according to TYPE just for visual reference, not linked to a Type.
- These are for reference only. It is like a card catalog to an EXTENSIVE list of tags.
- They also carry a Prefix letter not so much for sorting as for organizing so they can be found quickly. By typing the prefix letter you will quickly filter them. A few examples:
- A - Assumptions (not the nature of an assumption, but identifying the actual assumption.
- I - Ideas (Tags identifying specific ideas)
- L - Logic (both discussing logic itself and applying it to ideas)
- U - Deceptive Tactics Explained
AS WE BUILD THE IDEA MODEL FROM THE GROUND UP, WE NO DOUBT WILL CREATE NEW CONVENTIONS. WE WILL PUT THESE HERE TO KEEP ON THE SAME PAGE.
