SELF CARE

I'M JUST WAITING FOR THEM TO SAY YOUR BODY IS A TEMPLE SHOWS THAT WE MUST TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES

Your body is a temple means it's not yours and you can't use it to bring yourself pleasure but to do God's will

Also your body is not the temple of the self

That is huge the body is not the temple of the self

It's a temple of God's spirit and I don't think we should waste our time trying to nurture the spirit

The temple has nothing to do with nurturing certainly not yourself

WORSHIP IS HOW YOU MEET YOUR SPIRITUAL NEEDS AS PART OF YOUR OWN SELF NURTURE AND SELF CARE. THEY MISTAKE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE FOFR UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR CHOICES AND ACTIONS.

Therapeutic deism does not have a personal God but we have turned our personal God into that like they had communism with a Chinese flavor this is therapeutic deism with a Gospel flavor

They mistake unconditional love for unconditional acceptance of your choices and actions

Not so

Jesus wept over his divorce from Jerusalem

How often I would've gathered you in my arms but you would not so behold now your house is left to you desolate

When Jesus gave up on Jerusalem was his love failing no Jerusalem failed

Love involves discipline and sometimes it involves punishment

He still had a dream of an ongoing relationship with Israel but at some point if you reject love in spite of the fact that it is still there you have cut yourself off from it

The only thing that can separate us from God love is to reject it

Attacked from outside of the troubles of suffering from outside of us can't do it

But walking away from it can
