Unconditional Love Conditioned on Group Membership
I know a man who belongs to an 'unconditional love' group who I saw treat a Christian brother from outside the group viciously. He lied, stole, tricked into signing documents against interest after winning his trust, and then banned him from his life. So it is an illusion when he walks around in his group all smiles and welcoming and acceptance etc.
Jesus wouldn't 'trust the sweetest frame' (from 'On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand') and neither should you!
Indeed, the group will turn on you and withdraw their 'unconditional' love if they perceive you are the smallest threat to their 'safety.' The group leader will say the 'safety' of the 'group' is his priority, so I have to beat you up and cast you out like the man who fell among thieves in the parable of the Good Samaritan.
They define unconditional love as unconditional affirmation, but their unconditional affirmation for you is conditioned on you always affirming them.
SAMARITAN
Noticed that when someone asked Jesus exactly how wide the duty of love if she makes it clear it goes outside the community of God's people so even if I'm not a Christian or brother they still are supposed to love me
Jesus said love your neighbor they said who's my neighbor and he says the Samaritan the homosexual the Jehovah's Witness ease your neighbor
Love the center hate the sin
So even if I'm on save they owe it as Christians to love me because Jesus commanded to love one another and to seek and save that which is lost as part of his kingdom that we have now joined
So is there anyone who disagrees with them it's not a Christian or if they are a Christian they're not a Christian to whom love is owed
I'm not worthy of love is what they're saying even though Jesus commanded them to love me that doesn't apply to Doug
