Strategy

STEP 1 - Import all ideas into the Raw Ideas tree.

STEP 2 - Brainstorm the ideas by assigning categories, types, and tags. Also link them relationally. This is especially valuable because child and grandchild and great grandchild ideas can be cross-linked to others in completely different trees/clusters. This will eventually help us decide which tree/cluster it finally ends up in. Go nuts with links. AS THIS IS DONE FOR EACH ONE, IT IS THEN MOVED TO THE BUCKET FOR PROCESSED IDEAS.

STEP 3 - Analyze and decide on the primary relationships between ideas and eliminate the other links. This will leave an uncluttered organizational structure.

STEP 4 - Assign a location for each idea on the skeletal structure. Assign it to a specific chapter or appendix or whatever. Also, tag it as needing to appear in one of the indices (if appropriate) such as terms, glossary, etc. Finally, assign as likely primary material or appendix/endnote in-depth material (I expect a majority will be this)
