Self - Effort

Purposing your own set of steps to be done by self effort using the ideas of the self is not purposing to receive from God walking in the spirit is being present with yourself is not purposing to walk in the spirit or to receive from God

Go through their entire workbook and I don't see the father doing any work they're doing their stuff according to their ideas without God even being

There works based on their ideas so their work is to follow through with their ideas not to carry out god's will

That's the point their work is to carry out their ideas not to affect God's will

This is the whole professing Christian thing John said bring fourth works appropriate for repentance James said I'll show you my faith by my works basically we don't want people just to be professing Christians someone profess it and will say I'll believe it when I see it if I see Jesus changing your life I will know it is true

But if your heart does not show any change and he is not working in your life you might just be a professing question

Jesus said a tree bears fruit you know our work or just the fruit that happens if they tree of birth is planet there will be fruit that will be God changing our lives and us working on walking in God's will

That's the self effort of the Old Testament it was us putting in the work to do what God shows us he wants us to do in living for him until we get to the point where he's just doing it himself through us

If if we do anything that so-called improves our mental health if God did not do that thing it is worth zero except the Lord build the house they labor in vain that build it

Christ life in us is not something that we can do other than by following him and seeking his will not our own

Jesus did not die and going to heaven and just become a deistic observer he came inside of us and he is very much alive

But everything these guys are relying on their own stuff none of that is God working in you it's not about us working on us it's about God working in us and God working through us that is the sentence that summarizes it all
