The bubble
The space space is to keep you safe from abuse not life itself
The safe space mentality has actually extended to life itself outside the group and created a bubble mentality
If recovery programs insulate addicts from every negative feeling or real-world challenge, they may actually harm long-term growth and resilience, failing to prepare individuals for genuine integration into society, work, and relationships.
Addiction is not an entitlement to exemption; the normal rules of life apply.
Addiction is not a privilege that means everybody around you has to bend their lives around your recovery
Recovery should equip people to face life’s normal stresses with growing capacity, not permanent avoidance.
All this talk about accountability being more than conquerors and so forth is completely wiped out by the bubble mentality; it is mere sprinkle language.
No true soldier walks around expecting everybody around him to create an environment for victory before he will except responsibility duty danger or enter in the battle
THEIR BUBBLE INCLUDES GOD
Even he cannot say anything that makes him feel bad about themselves
SINCE WHEN IS VICTORY DEPENDENT ON AN ENVIRONMENT?
That's the whole point of walking in the spirit Romans chapter 8 we are more than conquerors no matter what the environment through God's love
If your victory is dependent on an environment it's not a victory that God did it's a victory that man did which is not a victory
WORKING GOAL NOT TO FIX
Back home
Everybody inside and outside your group has to protect your safety
You only have to protect the safety of those within your group you're allowed to hurt those who are outside of it
The Bible says that no discipline feels frozen feels good at the time you say space however requires that everything anyone says must make you feel good therefore you have rejected discipline which means you have rejected your own role as godson you cannot rejected discipline without rejecting your relationship with him I'm sorry Jesus is not safe the only way to create a safe space is to have a space where he is not in charge if that is what you call an environment for victory whatever victory that results in it's not a victory for God
You don't love Jesus more than you love his word
You don't love Jesus anymore than you love his word the Bible says there is a time in the place for everything but with these guys there is never a time and never replace to say something that makes you feel bad about self if you were saying a certain type of thing can never be said in your group you were saying that that applies even if Jesus himself is the one who wants to say it so even if Jesus never would say something like that if he ever did you would rebuke him so you can't say nothing like that ever comes from Jesus because what you're saying is Jesus is not allowed to say anything like that
Jesus does not have to limit his words by your expectations he is allowed to say something you never would've imagined that he would say
But if you can't imagine him saying something that makes you feel bad in the moment then you don't understand the principle that all discipline feels bad in the moment
Yes Jesus is allowed to discipline you he is allowed to tell you that you cannot commit adultery for the next 2 to 5 years the adultery is sin
Many people in the conservative church of criticized Joel Os because he won't stand up and say God is against his idea as well there's a lot of people saying that already and I wanna focus on the other stuff but even Joel Osteen acknowledges that sin exist he just doesn't wanna talk about it you guys are talking about it all day and all night but just don't believe it self medication so it's OK Joel says yeah it said but we don't want to focus on the negative you guys are saying oh it's not even sick and this from the church at criticized Joel
You know nothing if you know not the word
The Holy Spirit inspired the word the word is his spirit the spirit of truth
God created shame he created anger there's a time in a place for everything if it is not rooted in itself
If you attribute shame to the devil if you attribute conviction over send the word the spirit came to convict of sin righteousness and judgment not only the loss but to say we see that we are scarcely saved and that we more than the world are required not to send
So if you say say that shame always comes from the devil and Holy Spirit tries to convict you with sin and you say that is the devil you have now attributed the works of the Holy Spirit to the devil. What IS that?
And just leave it there
If you find the scripture offensive
And I'm not talking about my interpretation or someone else's interpretation
But just the raw words themselves simply quoting a verse and letting it speak for itself offends you
You cannot be offended by the word of God and stay in the room you will turn back and then quote that verse they were offended so they turned back
