TYF 2009: Superstructing the Next Decade

<div>2009 TYF DELIVERABLES PLAN</div>

<div>&nbsp;</div>

<div><strong>The 50-Year Outlook/The Choices of the Decade (Jamais)</strong></div>

<div>[not sure of the format for this yet; may simply be a powerpoint and perhaps a set of Scenario Cards for use at the Conference] see separate e-mail on the Narrative Arc on the Conference</div>

<div>&nbsp;</div>

<div>The goal of this will be to contextualize the very pressing problems that companies are facing today and over the next decade in terms of a big 50-year transformation of the organizational landscape. More on this in a separate e-mail.</div>

<div>&nbsp;</div>

<div><strong>The Pulse of The Decade: Survey Summary (Mani)</strong></div>

<div>&nbsp;</div>

<div>An offset printed 8-page gatefold that mimics the summary from 2007</div>

<div>&nbsp;</div>

<div><strong>Six Perspectives based on 21st Century Ideas:</strong></div>

<div>&nbsp;</div>

<div>These are&nbsp;4-pages each, printed in-house, with a cover essay, two-page expert interview, back page "Choices" page</div>

<div>&nbsp;</div>

<div>&bull;Post Newtonian Governance (Jake)</div>

<div>&bull;Bioempathic Leadership (Kathi)</div>

<div>&bull;Cross-Species Politics (Jamais)</div>

<div>&bull;Energy in Matter (Jamais)</div>

<div>&bull;FOXP2 (Jamais)</div>

<div>&bull;Superstructing Reality (Kathi)</div>

<div>&nbsp;</div>

<div><strong>The Superstruct Handbook:&nbsp;Extreme-Scale Collaboration (Jane)</strong></div>

<div>&nbsp;</div>

<div>This is 8-12 pages of discussion of the Superstruct meme, extreme-scale collaboration, and process learnings from Superstruct; 8 page offset printed gatefold</div>

<div>&nbsp;</div>

<div><strong>The Superstruct Report: A Crowd's Eye View (Jamais, Mani, Lisa)</strong></div>

<div>&nbsp;</div>

<div>This is a guide to the key narratives that emerged from Superstruct, with the goal of identifying key themes. We should think of this as a set of notes that guide readers to online resources, focused primarily on the stories, highlighting the big themes. I would also like to use the survey indexes as counterpoints to the themes &amp; stories; So the work here includes thinking about how we would "curate" the online material for easy access by people using the guide.12-16 pages, printed in-house</div>

<div>&nbsp;</div>

<div><strong>The Superstruct Ecology: A New Institutional Landscape (Kathi, Mani, &amp; Tessa)</strong></div>

<div>&nbsp;</div>

<div>This is a set of "ecology" maps and narratives; maybe think of the maps (5-7) as 8.5 x 11 cards, with a 4-page offset-printed wrapper that tells the larger story.&nbsp;</div>

<div>&nbsp;</div>

<div><strong>The 2009 Map of the Decade (Kathi, Team)</strong></div>

<div>&nbsp;</div>

<div>Some variation on the theme, offset printed; working on some ideas; hope to hold a researcher input meeting right after the holidays.</div>
