Many companies out there want a relationship with us, more precisely with our data—or so it seems. The current construction of those relationships more closely resembles parasitism rather than commensalism.
Real-world consent is not an approach for building trust, but rather an explicit acknowledgment of a pre-existing relationship or even lack thereof.
The CIA Triad: Confidentiality - Availability - Integrity
The main result is that companies are nowhere near the most valuable data points that could create and sustain growth in our relationship, and people are getting almost no value out of their own data.
