It does not appear that an award has been made.
 
Est. cost  1.19 B  Euros.  large  10 year  interdisc project.
 
ICT = Info and Communic Tech.
 
pitch:  overcome fragmentation of neurosci resch.  open new doors to understanding.
 
sidebar page 6 of exec report  on neuromorphic architectures:
achieve human-like intel based on unreliable devices;
strategies to deal with anomalies,  fault-tolerance,  active exploitation of noise, and
low power.
 
this is from the ITRS 2011 report:  
 
improve understanding of learning and memory;
the nature of the neural code; and mechs of consc and awareness;
 
by integrating brain resrch with ICT  HBP would help determine future of computing technology.
